Position: Oracle Golden Gate DBA/Architect
Location: Remote – USA
Type of Employment: Full time
Must-Have:
7-10 years of IT Exp
5-8+ years of Oracle GG DBA experience – MPP and/or Cloud based
3+ yrs of experience of Mongo DB & Cassendra
AWS Redshift administration hands-on experience
Performance tuning of databases using various techniques
Hands-on experience in DB administration tools
Experience on DB migration projects
DB security management
Workload Management, Server Health Check. Stats etc.
Relevant AWS Certification
Understanding of AWS SCT
Experience in working with Dev/IT teams.
Good experience on Database upgrade activities.
Strong knowledge of backups, restores, recovery models, database shrink operations, DBCC commands, Clustering, Database mirroring, Replication.
Experience on troubleshooting collation issues.
Experience on Always high availability (Configuring troubleshooting).
Knowledge of SQL Server tools (Profiler, DTA, SSMS, PerfMon, DMA(data migration assistant ) DMVs, systems-procs)
Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools
Work independently based on the mentorship provided by managers.
Experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework
Solid skills in decision-making, prioritization and negotiation
As per role these should be –
Must to have – (It is still heavy on Oracle DBA activities assuming there is no Oracle DBA in team, but if there is DBA in team last two points can be Nice to have)
5 to 8 years in Oracle GG administration – MPP and/or Cloud based
Experience on troubleshooting collation issues.
