Core Java, Collections, Multi-threading as core skillset with knowledge of databases and design patterns, and some hands-on experience on UNIX.
Hands on coding experience.
The candidate needs to be a self-starter, a confident personality with good communication skills who can work with minimum oversight and handholding.
