Qualifications Required:

1. Must have an Active Secret clearance or higher
2. Must have minimum of 5 years’ experience in software development. 
3. Must have experience with Java/Swing with servlets (very important). 
4. Must have Oracle database objects experience with a knowledge of writing Create, Retrieve, Update, Delete (CRUD) statements in standard SQL on any relational database. 
5. Must have familiarity with development environment. 
6. The candidate will be writing software in an existing infrastructure administered by senior staff but should be able to work independently with these platforms with initial assistance of senior staff. 
7. CompTIA Security+ certified.

Qualifications Desired:

1. MS Windows Server 2012 R2.
2. Oracle 12c RDBMS.
3. Apache HTTPD – web server.
4. Apache Tomcat - web server and servlet container.
5. Apache Subversion – software CM and version control system.
6. Functional / Integration testing experience.
7. Learn methods to check APPS system operation and restart servers or services on servers.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position provides leadership and direction to a team of HBSS administrators responsible for operating and maintaining McAfee software. Activities that this position will oversee include deploying, configuring, monitoring, tuning, upgrading, and troubleshooting HBSS components spanning a large and complex environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of prior IT experience with 3+ years working with McAfee HBSS 3+ years of experience leading a team of system administrators or cybersecurity professionals DoD 8570 IAT III and CSSP Infrastructure Support certifications required prior to starting Windows Server 2012 or 2016 experience - certification preferred prior to start Demonstrated experience with multiple network security zones, subnetting, VRFs, and VLANs Motivated self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to create complex technical reports on analytic finding.

This is an onsite contract position for 4-6 weeks but will likely extend for a couple of months To help the APP Dev team to modify connection pools to utilize UCP with a focus of JAVA 8. The basic understanding of Oracle sharding with UCP connections. Candidate needs to have a technical flexible understanding and the ability to explain the UCP connection and modification needed based upon the Application requirements. Oracle experience is a must. Candidate will use his/ her Java and others skills to support the need to modfy the current connection pool using UCP working towards the Applications High Availability. The project will support the possible adaptation of Oracles Sharding technology in the future.
